Terms of use
Last updated: 23.10.2026. These terms apply to the use of UniApp24 at uniapp24.de. The provider is Nikolas Sievertsen (contact in the legal notice). By using the app you accept them.
1. What UniApp24 is
UniApp24 is a study app in your browser. You use it without an account; the app stores courses, units, progress and entries in your browser on your device (see the privacy policy).
2. Free – and what may change
The core features of UniApp24 are free. There is no entitlement to particular features, a particular scope or constant availability; we keep developing the app and may change, add or discontinue features.
In future we may offer additional paid features or plans, including limits on free use. For that we promise:
- Costs arise only if you explicitly sign up for a paid offer – never automatically and never retroactively.
- What you have already created stays usable: studying, reviewing and saving a backup file remain possible, nothing gets locked or deleted.
- Balance (breathing, meditation, exercises against stress, sleep, tests) stays free.
- We announce significant changes to the free offer in the app at least 30 days in advance.
3. Your content
Your content belongs to you. You are responsible for being allowed to use the material you work with – especially when you share units or courses with others: lecture slides, scripts and past exams are often protected by copyright. Only share what you are allowed to share.
Since your data lives only in your browser, it can get lost, for example when you clear site data or switch devices. Back it up regularly (Settings → Backup).
4. Content from AI services
Units are created with an AI service of your choice (e.g. ChatGPT or Claude); those services have their own terms. AI can be wrong. UniApp24 checks format and completeness, not subject accuracy – check anything important against the original and your course material.
5. Balance is not treatment
The exercises in Balance support well-being. They do not replace medical or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment. With heart, lung or other conditions and during pregnancy, check breathing exercises that involve holding your breath with a doctor first. If you feel bad for a longer time, your university’s counselling service can help; in acute danger call 112 (EU) or your local emergency number.
6. Age and fair use
UniApp24 is meant for people aged 16 and over; younger people use it with their parents’ consent. Please do not attack or disrupt the service or use it for unlawful content.
7. Liability
UniApp24 is free. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law permits. For loss of data we are only liable to the extent it would also have occurred with regular backups.
8. Changes to these terms and law
The current version is always on this page and applies to future use. Paid offers come with their own additional terms that you agree to when signing up. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected.
