Make study notes from lecture slides
60 slides, one week until the exam. Copying them out takes hours and barely sticks. Faster and more effective: the AI summarises the slides – and quizzes you right after.
Free · no account · your files stay with you.
How it works
- 1Open your slides as PDF or PowerPoint – drop them into UniApp24 or pick them. The app reads the text in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- 2Check the course and page range. The app splits long lectures into parts automatically so the AI leaves nothing out.
- 3Tap “Open in Claude” or “Open in ChatGPT” – the finished brief is already on your clipboard. Paste, send.
- 4Copy the answer and paste it into UniApp24. The app checks that every slide is covered and every exercise works.
- 5Study: explained step by step, with exercises in between. The app schedules the flashcards until your exam.
What an exercise feels like
A real exercise from a unit – try it.
Warm-up question· from the unit “Exponential growth”
A patch of water lilies doubles in size every day and covers the whole pond after 30 days. When was the pond half covered?
Why classic study notes aren’t enough
Study notes are a summary – and summaries feel productive but do little for memory. Learning research is clear: what you retrieve yourself stays; what you only reread fades (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006).
That’s why UniApp24 doesn’t turn your slides into plain text but into notes with built-in questions: one section, then an exercise on it. You notice what sticks while studying – not in the exam.
What’s in a unit
A typical lecture with 40–60 slides becomes:
- Explanations step by step, in your slides’ notation – definitions and theorems verbatim
- Practice exercises that fit the material: multiple choice, cloze, calculations with changing numbers, programming tasks that really run
- Flashcards for terms and formulas, reviewed until your exam
- Coverage check: the app shows which slides were covered and which were skipped on purpose (title slide, references)
Slides with formulas, code or figures
Maths and engineering slides are hard for AI: formulas break when copied, figures go missing. UniApp24 detects pages with figures and gives them to the AI as images. Formulas come back as LaTeX, code as runnable exercises. The app reads which exercise types fit from the material itself: SQL slides get SQL exercises, a C program gets C exercises.
Can I do this with ChatGPT alone?
Yes – you can ask ChatGPT directly to make study notes from your slides. Three things often go wrong: long PDFs are only partly read, slides go missing without notice, and you end up with text you only read again. You’ll find good prompts in our prompt collection for studying. UniApp24 takes care of these three problems and turns the answer into something that quizzes you.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?

Are my slides uploaded?
No. The app reads the slides in your browser. You pass the finished brief to ChatGPT or Claude yourself.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes per lecture: two minutes of work, the AI writes the rest.
Does it work with PowerPoint and Word?
Yes: PDF, PowerPoint, Word, text files and photos of whiteboards or notes.
Can I print the notes?
Yes, every unit can be printed as a clean page or saved as PDF.
